Because Privested Academy isn't designed like a typical school, we're a wonderful fit for students looking for something unique. If you ever felt like your child needed and deserved to be homeschooled, but simply could not do it because of career or other reasons, we are here to help. From competitive athletes to advanced learners, our custom plans are learner-centered and goal-focused for each student's desired life goals.
Privested Academy's approach to school can be adapted to fit who you are and where you’re going. Here you’ll find a whole new level of flexibility, personalized attention, and support where you need it the most. Through on-campus instruction with an interactive hybrid curriculum, Privested Academy offers middle and high school students just like you a tailored, flexible, early college education. We start all of our students off where they are at and work towards their personal goal.
Our students have personalized schedules for their personalized lives. Each class is fifty minutes long with an hour and ten minute study hall of monitored tutoring.
Even though the educational methodology is nearly identical to that of 120 years ago, students' expectations have drastically changed. The traditional school paradigm is intended to serve an ever-increasing student population without any interest in the individual student, their personal goals, or their learning style. With far more varied learners than ever before, drastically changing personal goals, and diverse student populations, traditional education needs to change. Privested Academy is that change.
At Privested Academy, all students have individual class sessions in block schedules, M-W or T-TH between 9am-3pm. Each class session is paired with a tutor-monitored Study Hall. Friday is reserved for electives, interests, and athletics with classes available from 9am-12 pm. Students have one on one 50-minute teaching sessions with an hour and ten minutes of monitored tutoring in the Study Hall for each class. Full-time students take 6 or more classes. Full-time students complete 75,600 seat minutes of instruction each year and are eligible for completion of their graduation requirements under TEA standards.
